In the lecture notes about model selection, I believe there is a typo in the section Model selection based on test error:
Shouldn't \(\hat{k}\) be replaced by \(f_{\hat{k}}\) in the last sentence in the screenshot?
The same problem is also present in the Ridge MAP derivation.
