We were wondering if any TA had experience with instance segmentation and/or segmentation using multi-channel microscopy images.
We need to annotate images containing hundreds of bacterial cells (single class of cells). We are looking for a software that would allow for an easy manual 'pen' annotation (hand drawn, not polygonal) for the ground truth segmentation. We know about Labelme and Coco annotator.
Each cell has a fluorescent nucleus visible on the GFP channel , and the whole cell is visible on the phase channel. So each cell would have 2 masks/annotation: the nucleus and the whole cell. We are wondering how we could link those 2 annotations, which describe the same cell.
Instance Segmentation of Multispectral images
