Hi, I was wondering how the final grade was calculated. I used:
$$ (grade on the exam/79 \times 5 + 1) \times 0.6 + 0.3 \times (proj 2 grade) + 0.1 \times (proj 1 grade) $$
and got a considerably higher grade than what I'm currently seeing.
this is almost correct. the scale of the exam is two linear pieces, one 1-4 and one 4-6.
