yea it's hard to believe but it actually was a professorial team of 5 audio specialists in the upper auditorium doing soundcheck, and they got the wiring of the Swisstech speakers wrong. professionals...
extremely sorry for this. they apologized to us later but i know it's still very annoying
My assumption was that it was someone trying to soundcheck in another room. Probably the reason he could not hear himself in his room was because the audio was for our area not his.

It may have only taken 5 minutes, but it completely overwhelmed me for the entirety of the exam. I could hardly write anything for the end of the exam.
I actually think it was a master plan to cheat at the exam. The soundcheck guy communicated answers to some students through a sophisticated code. Have you tried to check if there were correlations between the sounds of the soundcheck and the answers of the exam?
Reason for strange noises in the exam
Hi I'm curious what the reason was for the strange noises we were hearing for a few minutes during the exam.
BTW I think the 5 minutes compensation we got was a very good handling of the situation, just curious what the cause was.

I mean it lasted around 5 minutes, so they gave us 5 minutes; maybe not enough for some but it's fair

It was an amazing commercial break, I had a good laugh about it and got another 5 minutes :D

Yeah he said "C" several times right? Also "18". We need to give everyone a 6!
