Extra paper stapled to booklet - considered scrap or not?
If the space in the exam booklet isn't enough will it be possible to be given extra paper that will be stapled to the booklet? I guess the point is not to write too much and the derivations are usually short, but there might be one question where our own method might take longer, or if there isn't enough time around the end to write on scrap then copy it to the booklet.
TL;DR : Will a extra sheet of paper stapled to the exam booklet count as scrap? Will we get extra scrap paper if we are out of it?
Thank you for your time and sorry for the very basic questions!

In principle, only the answers in the booklet count. There will be blank empty pages at the end of the exam for 'overflow'.
